What Information Does Taro Collect and Store?
We collect two types of information – personal and non-personal – from you in conjunction with your use of the Services. Collection of Personal Information From Third Party Sources Integrated with the Platform

Managed Email Services: Taro utilizes MailChimpto assist in customizing its email marketing campaigns to its customers and MailGunto send, receive and track Platform related emails. Third Party Web Services: Information is stored by Taro on cloud servers maintained by Amazon Web Services and Herokuand utilizes Digital Ocean to facilitate its cloud hosting services. Customers should click on the hyperlinks of those third party services for more information about their data collection and privacy policies.
Customer Support:FreshDesksoftware is utilized to enhance Taro’s customer support and related services. Customers should review FreshDesk’s hyperlink for more information about their data collection and privacy policies.
Analytics.Taro utilizes the following third party analytics services to help improve our Services:
Raygun:Raygunis utilized by Taro for error tracking and real user monitoring software to identify problems affecting its Platform.
ProfitWell:ProfitWellenables Taro to track its subscription-based growth and observe trends regarding new customers, terminated subscriptions, upgrades.
UseFomo:UseFomo is utilized for social proof marketing. Users should review they UseFomo hyperlink for more information about its data collection and use practices.
Tapfiliate:Tapfiliateis a cloud based affiliate tracking software that allows Taro to create, track and optimize its own affiliate based programs. Users should click on the hyperlink to review its data collection and opt-out options.

We also may collect and store information about you that we receive from other sources (including by us from our offline interactions with you) to, among other things, enable us to update and correct the information contained in our database and to better customize your experience on the Services

We may from time to time conduct a referral service to introduce people you know to Services. If you choose to use our referral service to tell someone about our Services or a discount on the Services, we will ask you for your contact’s name and email address. We will automatically send your contact a one-time email inviting him or her to visit our Website. Taro stores this information for the purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program. You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but, if you prefer, you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies. We do not use flash cookies, web storage, web beacons or other technology that tracks your browsing history across multiple websites.
Taro may work with a variety of advertisers, advertising networks, advertising servers and analytics companies. These parties use various technologies, and technologies form third-party companies, to collect data in order to send and serve relevant advertising to users. These technologies may include the placement of cookies or Web beacons, the use of HTML5 LocalStorage, the use of unique or non-unique non-personal identifiers and other technologies. These technologies may be used to track user behavior and serve you more relevant advertising.
You should be aware that Taro does not have control over these third-party technologies or the information contained in them. You should be aware that if you choose to opt out through other sites, this does not opt you out of being served advertising. The ads will just not be targeted to you by any party from which you have opted out. You can also opt out of future information collection from our Services by ceasing use of the Services or in the case of a mobile application, uninstalling the mobile application.
Is Personal Information Collected From Children?
Taro does not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13 years of age. If you are under 13 years of age you should not provide personally identifiable information to Taro without providing us with consent from your parents or legal guardians.
If you discover that a child under the age of 13 has provided Taro with personally identifiable information without parental consent, immediately contact Taro at [email protected]and Taro will immediately delete that child’s information from the Services. If Taro discovers that a child under the age of 13 has provided Taro with personally identifiable information and we do not have parental consent, Taro will immediately delete that child’s information from the Services.

E-mail communications from us or through us are designed to make your Taro experience more efficient. By participating in the Services, you specifically agree to accept and consent to receiving e-mail communications from us or through us, which include, without limitation: message notification e-mails, e-mails informing you about the Meals that you have ordered, the delivery status of the Meals or any other related information pertaining to your order, or promotions we run and emails informing you of new and existing features we provide. If you wish to not receive any promotional emails from Taro please email [email protected]or click the unsubscribe button.
You may not be able to unsubscribe from receiving essential Service-related and account-related information emails from Taro. If you do wish to unsubscribe from such emails from Taro, please send your request to [email protected]with subject line: “Unsubscribe from Taro Transactional Emails.” Please note that unsubscribing from such emails will impact your enjoyment of Taro Platform, Services and App.
How Do I Opt-Out or Correct Information About Me?
You may always opt-out of receiving future e-mail messages and newsletters from Taro. We provide you with the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us by going into your profile settings and choosing the appropriate options. Please note, however, that you generally cannot opt-out of service related announcements, e.g. if the Services are temporarily suspended or if delivery of a product or Services is delayed.

These Services will respect your browser’s Do Not Track signals (or other well-established, commercially available mechanisms that provide you with the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of Personal Information). If we receive a Do Not Track notice, we will stop using any Personal Information for online behavioral advertising purposes.
